Established in 2018, F.I.G. Tree Distribution Co. LLC is a beauty product line dedicated to fostering job creation in Detroit. Our commitment extends to offering entrepreneurship and mentorship programs for men, along with providing a secure haven and resources for girls and young women residing in abandoned homes in Detroit neighborhoods.

Male Mentorship

Acts of violence and trauma within minority communities have diverse effects on the lives of males. Mentors play a unique role in aiding young boys and men to navigate these experiences by offering a secure environment for

expressing emotions, seeking assistance, and transforming uncertain feelings into positive and constructive actions.

Our Mentors will acknowledge what’s going on.

once impacting communities, as well as underlying societal factors (including racism, prejudice and privilege) can help to acknowledge, affirm and explore the experiences of many young boys. These conversations can help young people make sense of their experiences and systems of

injustice that may have impacted their families and communities, in addition they will receive support from caring adults who are invested in their safety, wellness and success. Understand and cultivate critical consciousness in our mentoring relationship. A critical approach to mentoring focuses on creating opportunities for boys/men to reflect on, talk about, and challenge systems of inequity, such that the mentoring relationship becomes a vehicle for them to explore race, gender, class, ethnicity, sexuality, etc., and the impacts of discrimination and/or privilege on their lives.

Entrepreneurship Program

We know that owning your business is easier when you have a mentor to assist you. We have options that cater to every person's business interests and needs.

We offer a complete business curriculum to our employees and anyone in the community which includes but not limited to: setting up a business, filing EIN and DUN, creating a business plan and projected budget and much more.

Our educators have achieved success in their businesses and industries. Our Mentors are passionate about the success of all entrepreneurs and bring this enthusiasm into their lessons.

Alternatives for Girls and Young Woman

When a young woman becomes homeless, every moment she spends on the street increases her risk for exploitation and trafficking. Reaching her quickly is critical for her safety. We will provide a lifetime.

Our mission is to help homeless and high-risk girls and young women avoid violence, teen pregnancy and exploitation, and help them to explore and access the support, resources and opportunities necessary to be safe, to grow strong and to make positive choices in their lives.

We meet girls and women where they are. They can access safe shelter, crisis support, and so much more. With this support, girls can stay out of harm’s way, succeed in school, graduate, and become leaders in their communities. Most importantly, they have a safe place to learn and grow.
